Summer has come and gone, it’s back to school time – and just weeks until the midterm elections in the USA. To prepare, we’ll be doing three sessions. In September, we’ll read and chat about how the midterms work, which offices are up for election in the various states, what (tricks) can influence elections in the USA and how the results have looked in previous midterms. In October, we’ll have a look at a sample ballot and some of the candidates to watch out for on November 3^rd, when the polls will be open coast-to-coast at the same moment we’ll be discussing last-minute developments.
