The first recorded public protest on the North American continent was the “Boston Tea Party” in 1773. The most recent have included “Hands Off” on April 5^th, 2025 and the on-going rallies of such organizations as #50501.  Protest is (or at least has been) an accepted form of public expression in the USA.
